WE ARE G-Tech Copers

Since acquiring the G-Tech Copers Ltd. trade and assets in 2023, Ibstock leads the way when it comes to Platform Solutions for the rail sector with a trio of products offering the lowest embodied carbon concrete platform copers in the UK.

Ibstock’s range comprises the G-Tech Dual Coper, Trestle Slab Coping range and Low Carbon Tactile Paving. The concrete in both the G-Tech Coper and Trestle Coper has been manufactured with an 80% reduction of eCO2, giving an overall eCO2 reduction of 70% in both products.

Our product range

We are proud to have developed low carbon platform solutions in conjunction with Network Rail, to help the rail sector work towards increasingly stringent and binding carbon reduction targets. The result, concrete platform coper solutions with embodied carbon reduced by 80%, dramatically outstripping the 30-40% reductions typically achieved by other competing solutions.
