Scoil Náisiúnta Mhainistir Eimhin

The entrance to Scoil Náisiúnta Mhainistir Eimhin called for a brick that could bring warmth and character to its contemporary design. 

Birtley Beamish Blend Linear bricks were selected to create a distinctive finish, adding texture and visual interest to this prominent part of the new school. 

The result is a welcoming entrance with a strong architectural identity. Feedback from MCOH Architects recognised the character and quality the linear brickwork brings to the building, alongside the collaborative support provided by Ibstock during the project. 

Our Birtley waterstruck bricks are crafted using water rather than sand to release wet clay from the moulds, creating an attractive, smooth finish with subtle irregularity and rustic character. Alongside ready-made blends such as Beamish, the range includes bespoke blends and special shapes, giving architects the flexibility to create distinctive brickwork that brings their design vision to life.
