Ibstock scoops Architects Choice Award for 'Best Exterior Product'

14 October 2024

On the 9th & 10th of October, our Dublin team proudly represented Ibstock at the Architecture & Building Expo, held at the Royal Dublin Society. This event also coincided with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Annual Conference, attracting architects, technicians, and students from across the country.

While traditional brickwork remains a popular choice in Ireland, we aimed to showcase the innovative solutions Ibstock offers. Highlights included:

A CPD session on ‘Innovations in Brickwork’ presented in the exhibition theatre.
A spotlight talk on the Atlas Pathfinder project, which earned us the prestigious Architects Choice award for Best Exterior Product!

With the drive to reduce embodied carbon gaining momentum in Ireland—just as it is in the UK—architects are playing a vital role in meeting these targets. Engaging with this audience was a key opportunity to share knowledge, spark conversations, and contribute towards building a more sustainable future.
