We are delighted to announce that
FastWall®, our innovative façade solution, has received significant industry recognition, highlighting its impact on modern methods of construction and the future of UK housebuilding.
FastWall was launched in December 2025 as a step change in how brick façades are delivered, designed specifically to support the growth of timber frame housing and panelised construction. The system combines the beauty and durability of traditional clay brick with the speed, precision and sustainability of off-site manufacturing.
Earlier this year, FastWall was entered into two leading industry awards programmes: the Construction News Awards for Best Product Innovation, and the Housebuilder Product Awards for Best New Product.
We are proud to share that FastWall has been shortlisted for Best Product Innovation at the
Construction News Awards and has been named Best New Product at the
Housebuilder Product Awards. This achievement also secures automatic shortlisting for Product of the Year at the Housebuilder Awards, taking place in November.
What makes FastWall stand out is its ability to address several major industry challenges simultaneously - improving productivity, helping to tackle skills shortages, supporting carbon reduction goals and enhancing on-site safety, all while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of traditional brickwork.
At the heart of the system is the patented use of thin clay IBricks®, embedded within a glassfibre-reinforced concrete backing to create a robust, interlocking panelised façade. The panels are lightweight - weighing under 60kg/m² - significantly lighter than traditional brickwork, enabling reduced foundation requirements and associated carbon savings. Independent testing has verified high levels of structural performance, durability and fire safety.
FastWall also delivers measurable productivity improvements on site. Installation rates can exceed 30m² per day - up to six times faster than conventional bricklaying - helping to reduce programme durations, scaffolding needs and weather-related delays. The system’s alternative installation method also helps mitigate the ongoing shortage of skilled bricklayers by enabling different installation skillsets.
Architecturally, FastWall maintains the flexibility designers expect from traditional brickwork, offering a wide range of finishes and bonds while benefiting from the consistency and quality of off-site manufacturing.
These awards recognise the innovation, collaboration and long-term investment behind FastWall, as well as its role in supporting more efficient, sustainable and scalable housing delivery. We are incredibly proud of everyone involved in bringing FastWall to market and look forward to continuing its success in the months ahead.
