Available in structural (Structural Concrete Backed and Stainless Steelback) and non-structural (Loose and Hyperlite arches), arches can vary from a simple flat arch detail to something truly decorate and eye-catching. Hyperlite Arch:

For projects where weight is a concern, the Hyperlite Arch provides a lighter alternative to traditional options. It incorporates high-tech backing materials and 20mm brick arch slips bonded to the face for a flawless finish. This arch system is pre-pointed and works alongside a standard steel cavity lintel. Capable of spanning up to 2000mm, the Hyperlite Arch can also be sectionalised to fit longer spans. It offers a 20-30mm soffit, ideal for a sleek, lightweight solution.

Structural Concrete Backed Arches:

These fully structural arches are designed for strength and longevity, eliminating the need for steel lintels. Brick slips are bonded to concrete backing units with epoxy resin, or alternatively, a concrete backing is cast onto the rear face of the brick slips. This creates a strong, natural mechanical key for your brickwork. These arches are easy to install thanks to the inclusion of stainless steel bearing plates. You can also request a fair-faced soffit for a high-end, polished look.

Stainless Steelback Arches:

The Stainless Steelback Arch offers the same robust support as the Concrete Backed system but with the added benefit of reduced weight, allowing for greater span capabilities. This arch system is ideal for projects where a lightweight yet strong solution is needed. A 102mm fair-faced soffit is available upon request for a flawless finish.

Stainless Steelback Cavity Arch:

For projects requiring support for both inner and outer skins, the Stainless Steelback Cavity Arch is the premier solution in the Ibstock range. This arch system features the Lintray system, which guides moisture away from the cavity to protect your brickwork, ensuring long-lasting performance. Fully insulated to British Standards, this system is perfect for energy-efficient construction and fine flat gauged arch designs, available with a 102mm fair-faced soffit for a clean, seamless appearance.
