Ibstock has received the highest number of shortlisted entries across a range of projects, ranging from housing developments and education to commercial and specialist brickwork projects. The annual Brick Awards celebrates the UK’s brickmaking sector to recognise excellence in manufacturing, design, and craftmanship.
Shortlisted projects include The Ribbon, a landmark mixed-use commercial development; The Sir Michael Snyder Building, Brentwood School Boarding House, and Norham Gardens, contemporary student living within the North Oxford Victorian Suburb Conservation Area.
John Lovatt, Head of Marketing commented:
“We are delighted to see 17 projects featuring Ibstock bricks make the shortlist for this year's BDA Brick Awards. Within the construction sector, these awards are incredibly important as they consistently champion architectural excellence, technical skill and craftmanship, along with regenerative and sustainable building. This level of representation is a testament to the hard work of our teams and the incredible vision of the architects, contractors, and developers we support. It’s wonderful to see these projects recognised."
This year marks the 50th annual Brick Awards held on 4th November at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.
